If additional information is required, SmartChart will request it.
If something is unclear, you can ask for explanations or add your own comments.

If you need to find a vessel, you can simply write:

If you need to check whether a vessel will be delayed or not, you can write:

A. Ideal (best option)
• Native PDF (exported from Word / Excel / Docs), all fonts embedded, text selectable
• OCR / text language: English; unified time format HH:MM (24h)
• For SOF: one line per event in the format:
DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM–HH:MM — REASON (ALL CAPS, English reason code)
B. Acceptable (scan), if a native PDF is not available
• Resolution 300–400 dpi minimum (color or grayscale; not fax-level 200 dpi)
• High contrast: black text on white background, no grey background
• No skew (tilt ≤ 1°), no edge cropping, no 90° rotations
• No stamps or signatures over text lines; place stamps in the margin
• Font size ≥ 10 pt, machine-typed only, ENGLISH (no handwriting in key fields)
• Compression without heavy artifacts (avoid aggressive JPEG; prefer PNG / TIFF G4)
• One document per file; pages in correct sequence
